I tried the buffet on Friday afternoon and breakfast buffet over the weekend. All the items I tried are delicious. Generally chutneys for the buffet would not be great but this place has fresh and tasty chutneys. Coming to biryanis, bajji biryani is unique and must try item. I recommend this place to try.

It's pretty good! I like the lunch buffet and the service was great! Water bottles and chai included! The place and the plates are not the cleanest but I just used the disposable bowls. The utensils are disposable too. The people are very nice. The price is very good! Less than $20 per person for all you can eat!

Did not go inside but hit the Pani Puri hard via the mobile cart parked out front with all the lights on. Six bucks for six cups filled with the juice. The spicy juice was not very spicy by the way. Is this the same stuff as Gol Gappe cause it seems like it but being a white guy I really don't know. The onion mix was good but a touch of cheese might work too. Regardless of my semi useless feedback, the Pani P. is worth dropping by for. I would come back next time to try the Mutha Masala Mango. Pro tip - clean the glass sometimes where the pastries are sitting. Looks worse than the window my dog breathes on all the time.

I am a person who does not usually write reviews, but I really wanted to write for this place. I went to Amaravathi on a working day with a group of friends from office. The restaurant was having buffet style for lunch and being a vegan it's hard for me to find options in an Indian buffet. This was the case here as well. To my surprise, the chef came out and said he'll make a special mixed vegetable spinacy curry for me which was not on the buffet. That was above and beyond all expectations as the previous day I had gone to "Curry Cravings" and they said they don't cater to vegans. Just making the effort to make a curry for me was enough for me to give this place 5 stars for service, but the curry came out to be really tasty and even the non vegans in the group loved the curry. We were so impressed by the customer service that we even catered an office party from the place which proved to be a great success.

I recently organized an event for nearly 80 people and opted for catering services from Amaravathi. I cannot praise their dedication and the quality of their South Indian Telugu food enough. The entire process was seamless, from placing the order to the delivery. The food arrived piping hot and impeccably presented, showcasing their commitment to taste and aesthetics. The Appetizers and biryani were a crowd favorite. The biryanis were fragrant, with layers of flavor that delighted every palate. Each curry was a masterpiece, with authentic spices and prepared with utmost precision. Their attention to detail in catering to a large gathering without compromising taste deserves applause.

My husband and I were in the mood for dosas, looked online and this place popped up on Google. Walked in, were seated promptly and out came the menu...no dosas on the menu! Asked the waiter and to our surprise, dosas aren't listed on the menu, however, they do serve it so just ask for future reference . No egg dosa or spring dosa so there went our dosa craving out the door. They also didn't have a working coffee filter/machine so i didn't get my coffee.. BUT..WAIT! DONT BE DISHEARTENED!! We decided what the heck! Let's just try out their food anyway and we were not disappointed guys...we ordered some appetizers...the onion pakora, chilli Gobi and a spicy, dry chicken very reminiscent of chicken majestic which is an Andhra style chicken...all of these were tasty..then we ordered a malai kofta biryani, bread basket, chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken...please guys, go eat here..the food was amazing and I even considered asking the chef if they will give me cooking lessons . But I didn't! Great people, atmosphere and food !! Must try and we will be going back again.

They have an elaborate Indian menu with North Indian options and biryani. My cousins suggested this place and I'm very happy they suggested this. The ambience is very casual and there might a problem parking your car if it's a weekend. Else there's ample parking. The service was on point with the staff giving perfect suggestions. The service was a little late though. We ordered Lahsuni gobi- 6/5. It was outstanding. Me bring a garlic fan enjoyed it to the fullest. A definite repeat order. Panneer tikka masala and tandoori roti - 4/5 - they were good. The taste was as expected. The level of spicy red was mild. Could've made it a little spicy for the name. Panneer was cooked perfectly. Mughlai panneer biryani -3.5/5 - It was okay. The rice was great. The curry tasted more like panneer butter masala and could've tasted much better. The bill came out to be 57 dollars for all of this which is reasonable.

Tasty pani puri and puffs. Reasonably priced and served from a live counter. The sweet and spicy water is very well made. Mixing piping hot ragda and ice cold pani makes a tasty combination!

Seeing an advertisement for Wednesday buffet, I knew if given a chance I had to stop by to see if the place was pretty good. And at least imo, it's slightly above average. One of the slightly strange things that I noticed, is that they have like a noon opening, this is the first for me for a lunch opening to be set at this time, most of the places that I've eaten were usually around 11am or 11:30am, it's a minor thing but to me they are losing some potential customers by opening this late while many other places are open already. The other thing was that they had a few dishes that weren't even filled, so at this time and it might be just due to workload or some of the ingredients weren't there..but I think there were like 2 or 3 empty dishes and we stayed up until like 2pm..and lastly I think they had soup in one of the dishes but I didn't see any bowls for it and because of that I noticed no one taking anything from it. So again, less variety and money and time to make it or set it up..anyways the food itself was pretty good. It wasn't overly spicy but there was some heat to the dishes. The chicken curry and biryanis were good to me and very fulfilling. The naan was decent and nothing special but good with the sauces and gravy. Besides that, I thought the tandoori chicken was pretty good overall and the fresh batch was great to nibble on lol. Overall, I sort of wish to have more Wednesday off or even Thursday off to help digest the food. Due to my work schedule it's kinda of hard hitting this place either Wednesday or Friday, but at least it's another good option if I have some time to do it. Also sidenote, they offer bottle water which can be a good or bad thing, I'm thinking it's easier for them to keep the employee costs done from serving but if they don't recycle, that's a lot of extra trash. But, you can buy soda there since we were offered a soda..Albeit if I recall those were in cans..

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Amravati House," and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that left me in awe. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by its elegant ambiance and warm, inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the order, cleanliness created an ambiance that exuded sophistication and comfort. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the food. The menu at Gourmet Haven is a masterpiece in itself, offering a tantalizing array of culinary delights that cater to diverse palates. Whether you're a fan of traditional classics or craving innovative, modern creations, this restaurant has something to satisfy every taste bud. To start my gastronomic journey, I opted for the chef's recommended appetizer, the "Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Dum Biryani, Paneer Butter Masala, Garlic Naan." This delightful plate of fresh, vibrant dishes, perfectly complemented by a tangy balsamic reduction, was an artful blend of flavors and textures. It was an excellent prelude to the culinary wonders that awaited me. This is an exceptional restaurant that deserves the highest praise. From the exquisite food to the impeccable service and the elegant ambiance, every aspect of this dining establishment exceeded my expectations. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to indulge in a culinary adventure, Amravati House is the place to go. Prepare to be enchanted by a symphony of flavors that will leave you with lasting impression.

I revisited this place yesterday after the pandemic. We went there with few of my friends for a dinner hangout and I got to say the food was really awesome. The service is excellent. We tried a mutton appetizer and a mixed variety chicken appetizer and they were too good. Usually I won't eat mutton outside but the it looked good and so tasted it.. wow so good that we ordered the appetizers twice!! Chicken curry and dum biryani were awesome.. Naan was really perfect. The place is very neat and welcoming. I will definitely go to this one regularly now! I usually don't write yelp reviews much.. but couldn't stop writing on this. A must try!!

Yelp

Calling all dosa fanatics in East Bay!!! If you are a dosa lover, this place is a must visit. The best Rava dosa I've personally had in all of North America, the ultra-thin and crisp combination is what will bring us back when I visit the area again. I think you could also order the masala version of this which is another nice combination. Our table also ordered onion-chilli dosa, kaaram podi dosa, masala dosa which were all big hits too. Don't forget to ask for more of that super delicious sambar which reminded me of what one would get in proper tiffin places in Tamil Nadu. We also ordered the chicken tikka biryani, and this interesting twist on the standard chicken tikka did not disappoint. Everything was great taste and served at perfect temperature.
