Came here with a friend for lunch on. Sunday - stayed pretty empty throughout the duration of our meal - maybe it gets busier in the evening? Simple and clean shop with an open kitchen/prep area. Not noisy at all and they played some good Indian music. Started with some chai - quite muted in flavor but fortunately not too sweet either. My friend got the lamb vindaloo, garlic nan and rice. I had the chicken biryani which I enjoyed. Nice and flavorful. I wish there was a bit more chicken in the dish. My friend enjoyed her meal and the garlic nan smelled amazing. Limited food options in American Canyon since it's so small, but so nice to have a local Indian restaurant here that tastes good. Will definitely be back!

I really like Indian food so when visiting family we came here. We ate fairly early (5:30 pm) and were the only people at the place. It is clean and light but very basic interior design. I must say the Chana Masala was delicious! Really good flavor and perfect spice taste! My sister had chicken Vindaloo and I had chicken Korma. The Vindaloo was tasty but a lot of sauce (would have liked a bit more chicken). The Korma smelled wonderful and had lots of chicken but was very bland and could have used some spice for more flavor. Not that it wasn't good, but not what I was expecting. The garlic naan was tasty too!

I've had Indian food in many places and Bel King is without a doubt the best I've had anywhere. We came through the area on a road trip and were looking for something for dinner. We tried Bel King and were not disappointed. The lentil soup had my entire family saying this was the best soup they ever had. The chicken vindaloo and our other entrees were absolutely delicious. Our server was also so attentive and kind. The food took about 10 minutes to be prepared and she assured us each dish was prepared fresh and required some time to make. It was well worth the short wait. Give this small business a shot, you won't regret it!

Great food. Great service. Very clean inside. We've had great food every time we come here. Our favorite is the butter chicken and garlic naan. The desserts are always on point, lady in the front is awesome and super sweet. She's always ready to help.

The best Customer Service with the most tastiest, Indian Punjabi food the butter, chicken and their garlic naan is to die for it's probably the best tasting butter, chicken and garlic naan in the whole area and their lunch special for 20 bucks includes everything which is a generous portion and is really yummy Thank you Bellking. Love this place for rich Indian flavors. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I love the cilantro nann it's got a layer of cilantro between the nann. I look forward to each time I get to go here. If you're picky about your Indian food like me you'll compare all else to this place it's a hidden gem im so happy to have found.

The lunch special here is a great deal. The portions are generous, and the food is perfectly spiced. My friend and I split the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to try everything, and every dish was delicious. The service could have been better, but I would come back for the food alone.

Delicious Food, Great service, in a relaxing and welcoming ambiance is how I describe Bel King. I'm just starting to get very familiar with traditional Indian cuisine, outside of samosas, butter chicken, and tikka masala. Today, I ordered the Chicken Biryani. This dish reminds me of a traditional Trinidadian dish called Pelou, which is chicken and rice cooked to perfection with vegetables in one pot. The Biryani was so flavorful and delicious, with chunks of juicy chicken breast in every bite. The dish had a slight kick, with tons of flavor that will dance on your palette. I highly recommend Bel King and looking forward to try more of their signature dishes when I return!

This review is for their lunch specials which are 11 am to 2 pm: Huge portions of fresh and vibrantly spiced food. We ordered the vegetarian and meat (chicken) and both came with rice, a small salad, and freshly baked garlic naan. The vegetarian one came with garbanzo bean curry (chana masala) and wonderfully creamy paneer cheese tiki masala! The meat one came with both chicken tika masala and butter chicken, both with lots of chicken. Love this place and will need to order dinner here soon (or have it delivered via DoorDash)!

Authentic, spicy and flavorful dhabha style Punjabi food in a cozy setting, with friendly service, all reasonably priced. My second time here and did not disappoint, will definitely be coming back for more.

The name of the restaurant does not sound like it's Indian but this is THE BEST North Indian restaurant in the area! I was blown away with the authentic tasting dishes. We started with samosa chaat, it's huge portion and absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the classics, chicken tikka masala, dal makhani, malai kofta, garlic and plain naan. Food was piping hot and so fresh! There were 2 women running the entire place and they were so efficient and super friendly.

Food is A1 flavor was top tier. Service was amazing. Raj was very sweet and always made sure we have everything we needed while dining in. Recommend Bel King 10/10 must eat. Try my favorite

Deliciousness! Food hits so hard on a cold winter day. First time having Samoa chaat!!! Bomb! Naan, saag paneer and chicken tikka masala our fav dishes. Highly recommend! So happy we have an Indian restaurant here!

I got the veggie biriyani & it was so good, large container full to the top & wrapped perfectly to prevent spills. I also grabbed garlic naan bc you just can't not get the naan !

Was craving Indian food but didn't want to travel far, so Bel King was perfect! It was my first time here and I'm impressed with the food. Starting off with the restaurant itself, there's only a few tables with a huge open space. I'm not sure how busy it gets here, but when I came for dinner on Sunday night it was not busy so seats weren't a problem. The seats... the booths are nice but the seat/bench itself is short. There were times when I felt like I was going to fall/slide off the chair. Once you sit in them you'll understand lol. Other than that the restaurant was nice and very clean! The food. I reaaally liked the food and service. We ordered our usual; chicken biryani, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The chicken biryani was a 10/10 especially because it came pretty much with another whole naan (plain) on top! Our waitress cut it open in front of us, revealing the biryani which was nice. Good portion as well. Garlic naan was fiirreeee and the pieces were big. The butter chicken.... SO good, but the sizing in my opinion was small. I would recommend getting your own butter chicken and not sharing especially if you're hungry.. haha. Overall, I really like this place and I would come back! It's convenient, fast/nice service, and clean. I would probably take the food home though because it was soooo cold inside, especially when the door would open constantly. Try this place if you're craving Indian food close to home!

I'm so happy our friends invited us to Bel King. This place is only 5 minutes away! We traveled to Benicia, Berkeley and even SF for Indian food. Not anymore!! This place is awesome! The food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Service is excellent! Highly recommended!!

We dine at this location for couple of time the service is great they attend the customer really nicely they fix your entree as per your choice of spice level because I eat hot and my husband eat mild food is fresh worth to try again and again

This place is amazing!!! Butter chicken and tiki masala both great. We have bullet Nan is spicy. Hands down one of the best Indian places in the area. Service is great, food is amazing. Ambiance is nice. Prices are good. :) we will come back

This place is amazing! The food is always súper fresh and the staff's customer service is excellent. The music choice is an added touch for the clean and welcoming ambiance. Trust me you will love this place I love the garlic shrimp curry, samosas, butter chicken, garlic Naan and basmati rice.

We had been looking for a good Indian place one day on our way home from Napa when we found Bel King on Yelp. We have been back several times and it always really amazing flavorful food. I am always surprised that there aren't more people every time we visit, but do yourself a favor and make a trip to this funky strip mall!

The place is amazingly clean, the people here are nice and friendly and the food is something to write about! From the moment you enter, the air is feel with many spices, it invites you to eat. Everything is fresh and prepared instantly. For dinner. I have some rice with chicken (biryani) and some garlic bread (naan) 🤤 To drink I had kind of a mango smoothie, fresh and sweet.

We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Biryani, and Garlic Naan, and here’s how each dish measured up: Chicken Tikka Masala: This was easily the highlight of the meal. Rich, creamy, and beautifully spiced, the sauce had that perfect balance of tomato brightness and aromatic warmth. The chicken pieces were tender and well-marinated, with a subtle tandoor flavor that made each bite satisfying. A dependable, delicious version of a classic dish. Goat Biryani: The biryani had good aroma and the spices were nicely balanced, but the execution fell short for me. The goat pieces were unfortunately on the tough side, which made the dish less enjoyable than it could have been. The rice had decent flavor, but I’ve certainly had better in terms of texture and overall integration of spices. With a little more attention to tenderness and rice quality, this dish could really shine. Garlic Naan: A winner. Warm, soft, and wonderfully aromatic, with just the right touch of garlic butter. It paired perfectly with the tikka masala and helped round out the meal. Overall: While not every dish was flawless, the strengths of the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan definitely stood out. Combined with genuinely good flavors and clear effort in the kitchen, Bell King Indian Grill still earns a strong 4.5 stars from me. I appreciate the potential here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return—especially for that tikka masala. A spot worth trying, with room to become even better.

I used to live and work near the Fremont area, so I'm pretty familiar with really good Indian food. Honestly, I'd say Belking is definitely on the same level—it holds up completely. I'm just so happy we have this spot in American Canyon. I don't have to drive far for quality Indian food anymore, which is a huge relief. I've been hitting this place up a lot since I found it—probably four times in the last three weeks! If you're looking for authentic flavors without the long drive, Belking is the move. Highly recommend checking it out.

I recently ordered delivery from Bel King Indian Grill and overall had a very good experience. The Samosa Chaat was absolutely delicious – a rich blend of flavors and textures that really stood out. I also tried the Classic Curry Chicken with a side of Naan, and the taste did not disappoint. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and felt freshly prepared. That said, I did find the portions to be on the smaller side, especially for the curry, which I expected might come with rice or at least a small side. While the quality was excellent, the value could feel a bit stretched without those extras included. Still, I’d definitely order again because the flavor was outstanding. A few tweaks in portion size or including rice with curry dishes would easily make this a five-star experience.

Service was amazing! They provided last min reservation request, very accommodating for our dietary restrictions. Made us feel very welcome!

This is a great Indian restaurant. I’m so happy we have a delicious Indian restaurant in our town. We’ve had Indian restaurants come and go but this one is the best. They have great butter chicken and the desserts are always perfect. My favorite is the garlic naan

We catered breakfast and snacks from this place for our wedding guests. The food was awesome. The service was great and all the staff were available and kind. 100% recommended

This is my go to Indian restaurant whenever I’m in town. I travel hour and half to American Canyon. Everything I tried at this restaurant is so good and price is just right.Must try when in town!! Friendly people and great service.

Had dinner for 3. And, it’s the best north-indian food I have eaten in the US. The staff customizes the spice level to your taste. Chicken tikka, Malai Paneer, and Dal Makhni with Naan. Every item was top notch! Highly recommended!

Best place to go, I had a great experience and Indian food was tastes like home made food. Food was delicious and yummy and I will highly recommended to go there and you will not regret. The staff is very polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. I am really impressed by the service at Bell King.
