This place can definitely get busy. It has a nice lively atmosphere. Service was okay. I don't like how they seated another group before us even though we were #1 in the waiting queue. Even when tables were opening up, they never called our names or took us to our table. I had to go and ask one of the workers if we can get seated. You pay for everything before hand, and then they serve you. I got the butter chicken, tikka masala, spicy shrimp appetizer and garlic naan. Dishes were very flavorful and solid. Plenty of food options.

Very delicious Indian food, the naan is perfect. We ordered both chess and garlic naan and so satisfied! The only thing is too many people and not enough service. It's busy even we visited at 9PM.

The momo sauce is so good. I think they changed chefs and their butter chicken was the best I've ever had. I've gone back four times. So far my fav Nepalese place.

This has been our go to place for comfort home-like food. Love the momos, soups, noodles and gully soda. The food tastes good and gives very homely vibes. The service is always great, very patient and attentive workers.

This is one of my fav places to go in the Bay Area! I love the vibe of this place and food never disappoints. Momos and Hakka noodles are my fav. And the best part is the open mic ! Loved the old Hindi songs jamming !

(Update) went in after a long gap ... the flavor journey continues to amaze me. We went in for sizzler , which was fantastic bit chilli mushrooms stole the show. Momos are still the best in bay area.

10/10 on food, service, and ambiance. Went in with family and ordered a bunch of things to try. What we loved most were the mango lassi, gully soda, chilli chicken momos, honey chilli potatoes, chicken manchurian, and thukpa. But the lamb curry stole the show - so different from the usual curries and full of savoury flavor! There was live music being played that just elevated our dinner experience. Highly recommend this place!

Passed by this place several times but decided to try it today. I had a vegetarian dish and I already plan to return just for that. If you try some hot dishes you should be prepared to have the roof of your mouth collapse and have your cheeks wrinkle like cellophane. The service was great but the ambience would be improved if the waiters were not dresses like their clothes came from goodwill, I would also do away with the backwards baseball hats

Google

Amazing customer service and food was great! We tried the coconut shrimp, garlic naan, alu naan, and cheese naan with the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and the lamb tali platter. We will definitely be back!

This place has cool ambiance inside - Nepalese local cuisines and Mt. Everest photos. Came in with a reservation and seated in 5min. The table has QR code where you can order what you want for dine in and you have to pay it before they can get your order and prepare it. They said it's around 20min for the food to be served. Chai (teas) were served and they're really good. It's been over 35min tho and the food isn't served yet so I had to ask the guy to pls check for me and so he did. Our order took 40min before we could eat! The food came and for the price they charged us - it's generous. The food is not the best, but it's good and cheap at the same time. Would I go back? Yes

Amazing place!! The THUKPA here is godsend!! Loved their take on impossible momos. Can't wait to go here again, very very soon!!

On our return journey from Mt. Madonna, we decided to stop here for dinner. Being a Tuesday night, the restaurant was quiet, and we were seated promptly. Our order consisted of veg thukpa, mushroom chilli, veg fried rice, and veg momo chilli. The thukpa, a Tibetan noodle soup, was a comforting treat on the chilly evening. The mushroom chilli satisfied my spice cravings perfectly. However, the veg momo chilli was drowned in sauce, which was a bit overwhelming. Since the sauce was similar to the mushroom chilli, it felt redundant. The fried rice stood out, perfectly cooked and fried to my liking. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable. With such an extensive menu, I look forward to returning and exploring more dishes, making sure not to repeat the sauce mishap!

This place was amazing. I haven't written a review in a while, but I needed to for this. The smell when we walked in told me it was going to be a good meal. It just smelled like good food. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer - I forget the exact name, but definitely get it. Sweet sour, and just perfect. Beef momo- where have these been all my life? Nuff said Lamb curry - I love lamb curry, I try it everywhere, and this was one of the best ever. If I had and criticism it's that the rice was maybe a tad dry.

I ordered the Momo platter and it had a very nice variety. It is off menu and you can ask the server for it. They give you two of each Momo flavors. I also think this is the first time I ever ate bison before. Food came super fast and I am super happy

Only place that was still open late at night for dinner. I was surprised that there are people still inside the place eating at 10pm. I'm not the only one. First time trying Nepalese food. Ordered Lentil Soup and Aalu Bhanta Baingan to go. Both were perfect comfort food for the cold night.

I'd never been here before, so I didn't know what to expect. When you walk in you are instantly transported to somewhere that doesn't feel like Milpitas. There's lots of art everywhere, and even a movie poster of movie/book covers that share the name "Kathmandu." I was with two friends, and it took us awhile to figure out what to order. In the end we tried the fish curry, chicken naan, buff momos, veggie momos, fried tofu fried rice, garlic naan, and lamb curry. Let me tell you, everything was good! The veggie momos were a little spicy (I am also weak against spice), but it was not a problem because the flavors! They were so good! I'd never had buffalo before and now I'm converted! 100% recommend this place. Also, splitting the bill is easy since each device has its own bill/order. You may want to be aware of that when you submit orders so that everything can come out at relatively the same time.

First time for my party of 5 trying Nepali cuisine. All dishes were vegetarian or vegan, plus one chicken curry. We enjoyed each offering and want to return! Excellent dumplings, garlic soup, sautéed potatoes, curried vegetables, rice, and naan. Service was good, and the Sat evening ambiance became more lively.

Food: *Momo Platter (includes 2 of each: veg, chicken, buffalo, pork, impossible) - buffalo and impossible were my favorite *Lamb Curry Service & Ambiance: Nice place, opens until 11:30pm and is a busy spot

The food was great and the service & staff was awesome! We tried momos and paneer tikka which were very good. The best part is they were able to make the food mildly spicy so kids were able to enjoy it too.

Yelp

Tried the garlic fish appetizer, pork momo johl, and chicken kadai. They were able to make it a little less spicy. Everything was well seasoned and tasted really good. I liked how the johl dipping sauce for the momo is tarte and a good contrast. The bell pepper really shows through in the butter garlic fish dish. Overall, I enjoyed the "fusion" of flavors. Service and food came out slightly slow but it was chill and cozy atmosphere.

Yelp

We have been here a couple of times. They have plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. Their veg momos and veg chowmein are really good. You can place the order either at the kiosk or using the QR code at the table. Service is good.

Yelp

Went here today after having to wait on my car at Big O next door. The service was immediately great. Asked if I had questions and gave me a menu and recommended dishes. Both selections I picked based on his recommendation were AMAZING. The pork thukpa noodles were so so so so so good. The broth was perfection and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The Buffalo dumplings were the best dumpling I have ever had. The momo sauce that came with it was to die for. My wife is obsessed with it now. I also tried the chiya tea and it was incredible! I wish I lived near here but, I will always make this rec and try and stop here again. Unforgetable restraunt with great service! STOP BY YOU WONT REGRET IT! A MUST STOP!

Yelp

1) Good for team lunch 2) Steamed momos are amazing and must try - they are essentially what you are here for anyway. 3) Barbecue stuff is amazing. It has a zest of mustard. Also since it is served with some salad, and peanuts, it would serve as a nice accompaniment to drinks so in case you have a small home party with friends, get some take out of the barbecue. 4) if you miss home, they have chicken lollipops as well!!! Had an amazing time. They have good vegetarian options as well.

Yelp

Good service, good food. Food is mildly hot for the cuisine, and folks not used to spicy/hot food might have issues with it. We did not ask the server if the spice level can be adjusted. Came here for lunch on a weekday, and the place was not busy. Food was good, as was the service. However, they brought out the entree before the appetizers, so taking one star off. Many choices available for vegan and vegetarian food.

Yelp

Momo from Kathmandu Cuisine is incredible delicious. Though everything is a bit pricy but they are worth the prices. Highly recommend the chicken momo steam and mango lashi 🤤

Yelp

Great atmosphere, amazing food. Good service. They have a best Kathmandu vibe for sure. I ate lots of lots of Nepalese owned restaurants in US. I was just a visitor from different state. Definitely will be back if I come back and I do highly recommend for other foodie. But I was shocked seeing lots of Indian clientele rather then Nepalese.
